Directions
Kaikoura is approximately two and a half hours by road north of Christchurch and two hours south of the ferry terminal at Picton.

The train trip to Kaikoura from Christchurch or Picton is extremely scenic and times are similar.

Homewood Hill is situated 6 kilometres north of the Kaikoura township on State Highway 1.
( opposite the Hapuku Primary School.)
